Description
Two young baby chicks are in need of a loving forever home.
Both were rescues after arriving at the feed store in unsellable condition.
The older of the two (about 6 weeks old) is an Olive Egger breed; she has a severely crossed beak, and it is nearly impossible for her to eat food on her own. She needs to be tube fed a few times a day. I am happy to give some supplies for tube-feeding her also.
If her beak tips are kept filed short, she may be able to independently eat as she matures into an adult.
**If you are not able to dedicate the time to tube feed her a few times a day, please do not contact me. She will die if she is not hand fed in this way.***
The second chick is about 2 weeks old, she had a broken leg when she arrived at the feed store. Her leg has since healed, and you wouldn’t know she ever had an issue. I believe the breed of the smaller one is a Blue Andalusian.
These two girls are friends, I would prefer they go together if possible. I am asking for a rehome fee of $20 to encourage that they receive an appropriate home.
