This job will primarily consist of local vehicle operations involving loading, delivering and unloading of product to customer locations throughout the Phoenix area. Essential Functions Route preparation to include safety and maintenance inspection on company vehicle as according to company policy. Route deliveries as assigned. Read and review all stops for special instructions; utilize a map book to locate any addresses or stops that are unfamiliar prior to routing. Plan route to maximize efficiency. Review invoice/s, piece counts, order numbers and staged product for accuracy. Load truck with product for route deliveries with organization to assure efficient deliveries, while considering weight distribution of the load. Secure the load using load straps and or load locks where applicable to prevent shifting and damage to product. Practice safety and courtesy while driving/operating company equipment. Notify the property office upon arrival for delivery of product. Unload order as designated by property contact, and obtain signature for completed order. Submit all documentation from completed deliveries to the proper receiving area. Return and product not delivered back to the staging area for the route. Assist with general warehouse duties including pulling orders and stocking. Assist in counting of physical inventory. May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed. Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times. Utilize the proper safety equipment. Essential Physical Requirements (Lifting 70%, Bending 10%, Standing 10%, Climbing 10%) Requires prolonged sitting, driving, lifting, bending Must be able to lift 50-100+ pounds repeatedly Ability to exit & enter commercial vehicle repeatedly Ability to freely access all areas of the warehouse, stock area, and office. Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to load, deliver and unload product Ability to climb ladders. Ability to work varied hours/days to complete daily deliveries.
