The Yards (Formerly known as The Oak Bridge Club) is looking for an enthusiastic staff member for our golf maintenance crew. We have one of the finest golf courses in North Florida. You will be involved with day-to-day operations, special projects, and course improvements. Prior golf course maintenance experience is a plus. Essential Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: - Assist with preparing the course for daily play - Mowing and maintenance of golf course greens, tees, fairways, rough, and bunkers - Assist with irrigation projects and operation of irrigation system - Usage of power-driven mowers, power-driven weed trimmers and brush cutters - Ability to work variable hours - Operate small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing - Involved with tasks related to course detail - Operate utility vehicles which includes hauling material and removing debris - Perform general labor and cleaning of golf course maintenance equipment - Follow safety precautions/procedures in tasks performed - Regular and reliable attendance - Be flexible regarding tasks and duties assigned by management Job Type: Full-time, 30-40hrs/wk Salary: $12.00-$15.00 /hour based on experience and negotiable
