Position: Parts Clerk, Swing Shift (Springfield Shop) Apply online at company website: www.monelsontrucking.com Morris O. Nelson & Sons Trucking is seeking a Parts Clerk for the Parts Department (Springfield) and join our team. The position will consist of pulling parts from inventory and ordering parts for the shop mechanics, upkeeping and ordering stock inventory. Inputting service orders. Responsibilities include: 1- Pulling parts from inventory and ordering parts for mechanics. 2- Checking and keep track of inventory daily, ordering inventory. 3- Distribute incoming special orders and restocking inventory. 4- Enter daily workorders into PCS. 5- Issue new Vendor PO’s for part orders. Qualifications – Some knowledge of Kenworth (Paccar), Peterbilt, CAT, and Cummings parts. High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in - Knowledge of Parts pertaining to Kenworth (PACCAR), Cummins, CAT engines - Demonstrated ability to learn, and grow in position - Dependable attendance - Valid driver’s license preferred. - FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Reasonable Suspicion Training Other Duties Responsible for recognizing and reporting conditions that make an unsafe work environment.
