In my opinion we hoped for Sheriff Wyatt Earp but instead we got his distant cousin Deputy Barney Fife and here's why. Biden or Barney in this example is the seemingly friendly officer who puts on a show that the bad guys simply laugh at. Putin has caused two major hacks in the US, one in energy and the other in food supplies. A real Sheriff would hunt down the bad guys and put them in jail but the one we have gave a meaningless stern warning and then handed them a pot of gold in the form of allowing their pipeline to Germany be completed. The purpose of allies is not only good relations but common goals that benefit all of them and us, if Russia is our #1 adversary as Democrats claim and our European allies need to maintain NATO as a joint defense against them then it's antithetical to reward Russian with hundreds of billions of Euros each year making one of our major allies and NATO partners dependent on Russia for energy especially when we could supply them ourselves strengthening our country economically making it more affordable to defend our allies against Russia. Since the end of WWII we have been breast feeding our global partners allowing them to sell us their goods and services with few barriers while they put high tariffs on our goods and services being sold to them when in reality it should be a mutually agreed upon quid pro quo. Now Germany wants us to allow them to feed the Russian bear while we foot most of the bill defending them against Russia. There's absolutely no logic to this. Biden is the weak kneed Barney Fife of law enforcement if you're honest not Wyatt Earp. At first he told us Putin was a murderer then this week when asked he did everything to avoid repeating it and went as far when asked saying he could trust Putin. Not only that after meeting Putin one on one he wouldn't hold the traditional joint press conference because he knew Putin would run circles around him showing him for the weak mined fragile leader he is on the world stage. You're of the opinion that virtue signaling as Biden does supersedes real strong affective action that leaves no doubt and in no uncertain terms if Russia messes with us they will pay a severe price which is the opposite of what Biden has done by rewarding Putin with the pipeline to Germany and not being punished for hacking us. Please put down the Kool Aid and live in the real world were consequences matter and forget about meaningless euphemisms coming from Biden. His name is Joe Biden. He is showing the world that he will be doing things differently than the previous scandal-centric leader. Joe has made it clear that America is back s a global partner, America is ditching the policy of selfishness and greed. Making America a strong global community member is what makes America great. America is a stronger nation because of good relationships with other countries. Putin has now had official warning of America’s policies on cyber terrorism. I believe Biden will back his words with appropriate action if Russia keeps allowing cyber terrorism. Biden represents strength in leadership.
