Pitch a tent and enjoy this rare opportunity to camp on the beautiful, historic grounds of Hoover Park for a night! In honor of the 100th anniversary of the first Hoover Company International Sales Convention, the Hoover Historical Center at Walsh University is offering community members the opportunity to pitch a tent and enjoy the grounds of Hoover Park for a night, just like the salesmen did in 1921! Bring your tent and a picnic dinner and enjoy the playgrounds and beautiful surroundings of the original Hoover family farmland. Campers will enjoy a family-friendly movie shown in the historic Hoover Banquet Hall built in 1926. Campers will pack up and head out by 9:00am on Saturday, July 17th but we welcome you back later that day for the free Hoover Park Festival from 12-4pm! The cost of the campout is $30 (plus fees) per tent. The Hoover Historical Center would like to recognize The Hoover Company as the major sponsor of both the Hoover Park Campout and the Hoover Park Festival.
