We are looking for a competent General Construction Worker to work on apartment renovations and other construction projects. Experience in working on relevant projects and using equipment is essential. You must have physical strength, endurance and work well with your hands. Being good in collaboration, following instructions, and ensuring the best quality of the work. Responsibilities • Installation of drywall • Completion of wall patching and repairs • Installation of kitchen and bathroom cabinets • Installation of kitchen flooring and bathroom tiles • Replacement and installation of new lighting • Performance of light plumbing • Performance of light electrical • Painting of apartment upon completion of renovation • Cleaning up site debris and discarding of material • Performance of other miscellaneous apartment renovations tasks Skills • Experience in operating equipment like saws, drills, pneumatic hammers etc. • Knowledge of mixing and pouring construction material (concrete, sand, grout etc.) • Ability to take accurate measurements and calculations. • Experience with renovations of kitchens and baths. • Excellent dry-wall skills. • Excellent painting skills. • Knowledge of electrical and plumbing • Experience with ceramic and vinyl tiles. • Experience with interior door installation. • Excellent balance and eye-hand coordination. This job will involve some driving to Westchester and Connecticut. It will also require picking up supplies and materials.
