South Shore Precast Concrete Manufacturing Plant looking for a laborer to assist in production of Concrete products. Full time, plenty of overtime, immediate openings. We are hiring for 3 locations! Marshfield, Scituate, and Pembroke! Precast Concrete knowledge is a plus, including product forming, pouring, curing, handling, storage and shipping. Follows, coordinates and ensures proper compliance with pre-established production schedules, processes and procedures and safety guidelines to produce a high quality product. Quality conscious and a strong work ethic important. Ability to contribute to a positive team spirit. Individuals with the following experience and abilities should apply: Responsibilities • Form building and mold set up for specific products and striping finished products from molds. • Measure work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of mold set up. • Finish fresh concrete after it has been poured into prepared molds. • Handle and assemble rebar cages per production specifications. • General production and maintenance duties when needed. • Operate any equipment needed to perform the job. Preferences • Precast or Concrete experience • Practical Carpentry and knowledge of basic tools • Availability to work overtime • Physical demands to perform safely at all times Working Conditions: Production employees are exposed to the varied weather conditions Production bays are heated but not air-conditioned Rain gear and winter coveralls are available for your protection Safety glasses, hard hat, gloves, and steel toe boots are required daily but provided Ability to lift / move equipment and or tools weighing up to 50lbs Benefits Medical insurance coverage Dental Life Insurance Supplemental insurance 401(k) Company Savings Program Successful completion of drug screening and physical required.
