Job Description A large residential/light commercial design build company seeking a Project Manager for exterior projects for residential and light commercial construction projects. This position is based in West Haven, CT. Most of our work is in New Haven and Fairfield counties, however we do service the entire state of CT. Requirements Position responsibilities include assisting with: • Planning • Scheduling • Preparing and processing work orders • Attending and recording project meetings • Managing employees and supply vendors • Record keeping • Reviewing subcontractor requisitions • Assist with completing projects on time and within budget Job Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent field experience • Manage in-house framing, concrete/masonry & window/door installation crews • Measure & order windows • Create blueprint takeoffs & order all framing/decking materials (including hardware) • Knowledge of all project delivery methods • Basic understanding of contracts, plans, specifications and construction methods • Strong Computer Skills in Microsoft Office Suite • Strong written and oral communication skills • Strong interpersonal skills • Ability to analyze and solve problems • Positive attitude • Professional demeanor • Strong work ethic • Ability to follow specific instructions • Must possess skill set to manage multiple projects at once • Post offer physical, drug screen and background check Benefits offered include: • Health Insurance • Life Insurance with Voluntary Life Option • Simple IRA • Paid Holidays • Paid Time Off • Educational Assistance • Company vehicle A experienced framer with the skill set detailed above could do this job.
