Both positions are available, commensurate with experience. What We Offer - Competitive Pay - Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits - Paid Time Off - Paid Holidays - 401K - Paid On The Job Training - Bonuses Awarded for After-Hours Work Completed PLUS Overtime Pay! - Teamwork Oriented Environment - The Restoration Technician will have the opportunity to obtain the following certifications: Water Restoration Technician / Advanced Structural Drying / Fire and Smoke Technician Primary Responsibilities - Perform water mitigation duties including extraction of water, demolition on jobs sites, etc. - Perform tarping and board-ups. - Perform mold remediation duties including demolition, sanitizing, etc. - Perform handling, packouts, and packbacks of customer contents. Perform trauma / bio-hazard clean up. - Setting and monitoring of equipment. - Maintain a clean, properly stocked and organized company vehicle. - Maintain company equipment. - Be accessible by phone and participate, as necessary, in the on-call schedule. - Assist in warehousing and facility related tasks when necessary. - Explain process and answer customer questions, as needed. - Monitor, communicate, and respond to customer needs/concerns. - (Crew Chief) Communicate clear expectations to Production Technicians and supervise their activities. - Perform production processes as scheduled and ensure quality control. - Identify safety hazards, communicate, and establish control measures to ensure the safety of occupants and workers. - Manage assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly. Position Requirements - Reliable transportation (Work is performed on the road each day, but employees must report to the East Haven warehouse in the morning.) - Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred. - Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance - Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics) - Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time - Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects - Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals - Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary - Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law. - Effective written and oral communication. - Basic math skills. - High School Diploma / GED preferred.
