Join the Civic Design Center for a tour of Downtown Commons in Clarksville, led by the project architect and landscape architect! SPACE IS LIMITED: We are sticking to outdoor events for now as we transition beyond the pandemic, but we have been hoping to bring our members together in person for a long time. If you haven't had a reason to explore our neighbor to the North -Clarksville, TN - now is your opportunity! The tour of Downtown Commons will be led by some of the project designers, including the Landscape Design firm as well as the project architect. In addition to the designers, we will hear from the local planning department to learn about some of the benefits Clarksville has seen since the park was built. For this tour, you will meet us in Clarkville, and you can bring the whole family to get a tour of the Downtown Commons during the Downtown Market Kids Zone. Even the youngest urbanists will have something new and fun to experience. Following the tour, we will meet for lunch at a nearby restaurant.
