This screening is made possible by The Luminal Theater, Red Olive Culture Commons, and Spotlight Cinemas Capital 8.
Due to a lack of continuous spaces for everyday Black people to experience the work of Black independent filmmakers, The Luminal Theater provides ongoing, fully-curated access to exhibitions of diverse cinema and media of the Black/African diaspora. Our screenings doubly allow the artists to present their work within our unique brand of shared audience experiences that embody and emphasize local flavors, while infused with a bold Brooklyn direction.
