If you need help obtaining a mask, please call the church at 525-3408. And remember, if you are a member of a high-risk category (over 65 with a preexisting condition such as diabetes, hypertension, cancer, etc) it is strongly recommended that you remain at home, at least for now. Also, if you have symptoms or are sick, please stay at home. The Sixth Baptist Church, organized in 1858, is located in the lower garden district of New Orleans. Since 1997, Dr. Torin T. Sanders, Ph.D. has served as its pastor. The Sixth Baptist Church believes its mission includes empowering the community through special events held throughout the year and ministries that meet the needs of children and families.
