The Town of Sharon seeks qualified applicants for the full-time (37.5 hours/week; M-W 8:30pm-5pm; Th 8:30am-8pm; F 8:30am-12:30pm) Benefits Coordinator position.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited the following:
Process benefits for Town employees, including medical, dental, STD/LTD, life insurance, retirement plans and work with School Department for School employee benefits; coordinate employee on-boarding and off-boarding; generate state and federal reports, including, W-2s, ACA reporting and unemployment claims; administer mandatory and voluntary deductions from wages; oversee weekly payroll process.
Qualifications and experience: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or related field preferred, with 3 years of related experience, preferably in a municipal setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. MUNIS software experience helpful.
Starting Salary Range: $52,140 - $54,245, with excellent benefits
