SARASOTA, FL — A gas leak has closed all lanes of Bayfront Drive between Ringling Boulevard and South Orange Avenue Wednesday morning. The lanes are expected to be closed for several hours Wednesday, Sarasota police tweeted around 10:30 a.m. Drivers should find alternate routes when traveling in the area. TRAFFIC ALERT All lanes of Bayfront Drive are closed between Ringling Boulevard and South Orange Avenue in the @CityofSarasota due to a gas leak. The road is expected to be closed several hours.
