Learn to Paint with Alcohol Ink in this 2 hour workshop with Korinne Carpino In this 2 hour introductory workshop, you will learn the basics of painting with alcohol inks. You will learn about the properties of the inks, basic tools used and different papers you can paint on. You will practice using basic techniques to move the inks using: gravity; a paintbrush; a toothbrush; a felt ink applicator, a coffee stirrer, a straw,a credit card,an ink blower, and canned air. You will create two 5x7" paintings in this class. At the end of class, your favorite painting will be matted in an acid free white mat and placed in a clear acrylic sleeve ready for presentation. This is the first class in a five (5) class series. Part 2 , Friday, July 30 - Learn about light, Shadow, Value painting an apple in inks. Part 3, Friday August 6 - Learn about Abstract and Representational Painting and paint water and sky. Part 4, Friday, August 13 - Learn to Paint Trees - An Oak, a Birch and a Pine. Part 5, Friday August 20 - Learn to Paint Tropical Flowers Korinne Carpino, artist, primarily works in alcohol ink and mixed media.  Her classes are limited to 10 -12 students  in order to provide personalized instruction.  Korinne encourages her students to be fearless in their approach to learning and painting.  Learn more About Korinne at https://korinnecarpinoart.com
