Greenport Construction, Inc. is a Design/Build company based in San Rafael with projects in the north bay, east bay, SF, and peninsula. We are currently looking to add several more folks to our team in various capacities. Hoping for people with previous experience or, at the very least, a strong desire to learn in one or more of the following fields: -Rough carpentry/framing -Finish carpentry -Drywall/painting -Electrical -Plumbing -Welding and metal cutting -Fine woodworking -Cabinetry assembly -Fencing -Cement, masonry or tiling -Roofing -Earthwork -Swimming pool installation Our company is dedicated to providing the utmost in craftsmanship, and we maintain focus on professionalism and organization around our projects, on our worksites, and in our shop. So, even if you don't have any of the above listed skills per se, and are only coming on in an apprentice role to start, the following work habits are a requirement: -Personal cleanliness and professional appearance -Punctuality -Open, clear and respectful communication with supervisors, co-workers, and clients -A desire to learn and grow with the needs of the job and the company itself Work week is Monday through Friday, typically starting between 7:30 and 9:00am and ending between 4:00 and 5:30 pm, depending on the needs of the day. Compensation will be based on experience and job description, and is negotiable. We have tripled in size since our start six years ago and are looking for folks who want to grow and expand with us, and understand the opportunity that represents in terms of future potential compensation.
