Join us to elevate awareness of Type 1 Diabetes, raise funds to find a cure, and inspire those with diabetes to thrive! Silver Sun Solar is proud to announce our 1st Annual Charity Disc Golf Event held at the River City Nature Park in Debary, Florida. The event will be held on Saturday, September 25th 2021. The tournament will begin with a scramble at 9:00am with a shotgun start! Silver Sun Solar is pleased to extend to you the opportunity to enter this prestigious event as well as offer special sponsorship opportunities. We have limited the amount of players to 108 golfers with three people per team, but all others are welcome to attend free of charge! Player spots and sponsorship opportunities are based on a first-come, first served basis so please enter as early as possible. **If you are interesting in becoming a sponsor/vendor please contact Stella Everett at (407)-832-4245 or [email protected] for more information.** Format of the tournament: • Tournament will be in the 3 person per team scramble format, with a total of 108 golfers • 2 teams of 3 playing will play each hole collectively throughout the round • Each team member will be responsible for 6 drives and 6 fairway shots in the round • Up to 6 mulligans per team may be purchased at the event (2 per Player) • Out of bounds and drop zones will be defined day of the event * In the event of a 4 person team only 3 are allowed to tee off and play each hole, members must rotate with one person sitting out each hole* Games to be played: • Putting Challenge = Every basket made provides participant raffle tickets to prize giveaways. o Prizes = Commemorative Discs, T-Shirts, Hats, Disc Golf Gear, Umbrellas, Etc. • Chandelier Contest – 6 baskets tiered 3-2-1 with various levels of prizes. o Basket # 1 = Disc Golf rolling cart o Baskets #2 -#3 = Disc Golf Baskets #2 & #3 o Baskets #4, #5, #6 = Disc Golf Back Packs • Closest to the pin – 1 designated hole = 50% Touched by Type 1 & 50% to CTP WINNER o 50/50 Raffle - 50% of raised monies to winner 50% to Touched by Type 1 Charity • Ace Fund o Contributions made to pool for an ACE Shot Award in play on any hole from the Tee.
