Press release from the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce: Paul Savage 6/16/2021 Shreveport Public Assembly and Recreation (SPAR) Athletics Division is proud to announce a special Juneteenth edition of their 3 on 3 Unity Basketball Tournament. As always, the purpose of the Unity Tournaments is to enrich the quality of life by providing a safe, positive, and active opportunity within our community through basketball. In addition to the Basketball Tournament, SPAR will offer: This special event will be held at Valencia Park (1800 Viking Drive) on Saturday, June 19 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Drive-Through Covid-19 Vaccines: No appointment necessary Ages 12-17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian To register for the next upcoming tournament, visit myspar.org/253/Athletics.
