Description
MANCHESTER CT — Manchester's 21st Century Public Library Task Force has embarked on a survey involving residents.
The town committee that is researching what residents want in a 21st Century library is now surveying people at the library, on-line and in-person. The "Our Library, Our Future" initiative will also be present at public events throughout June and July to hear community input. Community feedback will help formulate the proposal for a 21st Century library, which will be made to the Board of Directors in September, committee members said.
Residents can learn more about the issues and take the digital survey at:
YourVoiceMattersManchesterCT.com/21st-century-libraries Paper surveys can be submitted at Mary Cheney Library and the Whiton Branch Library through the end of July.
Both the paper and digital surveys are available in English, Spanish, and Bengali.
"Our Library, Our Future" will also have a table at 2nd Saturdays Downtown, the Spruce Street Farmers Market, and the Off-Main Experience through the end of July. Residents will be able to speak to committee members and fill out paper surveys.
