Press release from the School City of Hammond: June 16, 2021 Be advised there is a significant power outage occurring at Morton High School and our Warehouse facility. Emergency backup power is operational. While SCH contractors and engineers are working to address the problem, it may be at least one week before power is restored at Morton and the Warehouse. Morton office staff have temporarily moved to the Gavit building for this week, and the Morton-based HAPA summer enrichment programs have moved to Scott Middle School. Another notification will follow once power has officially been restored.
