Over the next few months, Dallasites will experience their fair share of triple-digit temperatures. With temperatures rising, it's important to know how to stay safe and cool this summer.
"When outside working or playing, take lots of breaks and find shade," said Rhonda Simpson, Communications Specialist for the City of Dallas Office of Emergency Management. "It's important that you don't leave anyone, especially pets or children, in your car."
You can beat the heat by exercising the following precautions to prevent heat-related illness:
