Join us for a relaxed, family-friendly 5-mile bike ride through scenic Rosedale Park and North Rosedale Park. Beginning at Stoepel Park, we will ride through Rosedale, crossing over at Grand River to loop through North Rosedale. We will end at Flintstone Park (Rosemont Acacia), where there will be a short dedication of the new COVID Memorial. A map of the bike route is below. Get some exercise while exploring the new bike lanes on Grand River as well as rolling past the beautiful homes of Northwest Detroit. Run of Show 8:30am - Check-in at Stoepel Park- RPIA Event Committee: Welcome and Route instructions- Route Leader 9:00am - Group departs Stoepel Park- 5 mile route 10:30am - Arrival at Rosemont-Acacia 11:00am - Dedication of COVID Memorial- Pam Weinstein 11:30am - Grab and Go Snacks available 12:00pm - Event Close/ Clean-up- RPIA Event Committee 1:00pm - Departure Committee members responsible for plannning the trip for the Bates Academy graduating class of 2015.
