AUSTIN, TX — A 31-year-old was arrested and charged with murdering a man and injuring another person in a South Austin shooting on Friday. Anthony Ryan Lilley was arrested Tuesday and faces a first-degree felony murder charge in the death of Travis Ray Clements, Austin police said Tuesday. As of Wednesday, Lilley was still booked in Travis County Jail. His bond is set at $100,000. Police received a 911 call Friday evening from a woman who said she had been robbed and shot in the 4100 block of Todd Lane. When officers arrived, they found the woman and another man, who police identified as her husband, shot and unresponsive. The officers and Austin-Travis County EMS attempted life-saving measures on the man, but were unsuccessful. The man was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:29 p.m., authorities said. Police later identified the man as Travis Ray Clements. Authorities said the couple had driven to the location along with their three children to meet with Lilley. During the meeting, shots were fired striking both Clements and the woman. The children were taken to family by crisis counselor and the woman was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, officials said. On Sunday, the Travis County Medical Examiner's office concluded from an autopsy Clement's cause of death was due to multiple gunshot wounds and ruled his death a homicide. Police issued a murder warrant and arrested Lilley on Tuesday. Authorities said once his booking photo becomes available, it will be released. Detectives are asking anyone with information or video of the incident to call APD Homicide at 512-974-TIPS, email [email protected], utilize the Crime Stoppers tip line at 512-472-8477 (TIPS), or the Crime Stoppers app. Individuals may remain anonymous.
