Press release from the Santa Cruz County Public Health Office: June 15, 2021 Santa Cruz County Public Health is pleased to announce the launch of a public dashboarddocumenting local progress on COVID-19 vaccinations. Available at www.santacruzhealth.org/corona... (English) orwww.santacruzsalud.org/coronav... (Spanish), the dashboard includes data on thepercentage of all residents who are fully vaccinated regardless of eligibility, or who have at leastonce vaccine dose. The data will be updated every Monday. Residents can also view daily updates on total vaccines administered across all providers; gender, age and race/ethnicity breakdowns; vaccine administration data by zip code; and indicators onoverall vaccine progress and health equity metrics. The County's overall COVID-19 vaccination rates exceed state averages, and have led to asignificant decline in local infection rates. Currently, Santa Cruz County has only 56 activeCOVID-19 cases. The County encourages everyone who has not yet been vaccinated, and is currently eligible, toschedule a vaccine appointment through a local provider (the English and Spanish vaccine pagesinclude comprehensive lists). Residents may also visit MyTurn.ca.gov or VaccineFinder.org tomake an appointment. Vaccinated residents will automatically be enrolled in California's "Vax forthe Win" lottery program. Due to California's successful and ongoing vaccination efforts, on June 15 the State will move"Beyond the Blueprint" and remove most economic restrictions, capacity limitations and physicaldistancing requirements. However, face covering requirements are likely to continue in certainworkplace settings. This press release was produced by the Santa Cruz Public Health Office.
