SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — Firefighters halted the spread of a brush fire late Wednesday morning in Pauma Valley. The slow-moving blaze sparked south of state Route 76 and west of Valley Center Road, according to Cal Fire. The fire spread about five acres and caused no reported structural damage or injuries. #PaumaFire in Pauma Valley [update] Fire spread has been stopped at five acres.
