The Maintenance Technician performs services and repairs of the interior and exterior of the community. The technician completes work orders, electrical, HVAC, routine plumbing and participate in snow and ice removal. Here’s what you’ll do: Treats residents with dignity, respect, gentleness, and kindness Perform routine maintenance work orders as assigned. Maintenance of building systems and building maintenance utilizing: carpentry, painting, light electrical, and plumbing. Repair household appliances and mobility devices such as wheelchairs and scooters. Assists in snow removal and general ground maintenance. Self-assigns and performs tasks enhancing resident comfort and safety Utilizes the TMS Work Order System to not and complete all assigned work orders. Identifies and reports broken equipment or uncertain conditions to the department supervisor. Respond to emergencies in accordance with the departmental protocol. In collaboration with the department supervisor, performs required fire alarm tests. Communicates with the supervisor when complex repairs and maintenance requests require an outside contractor. Here’s what you need: Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with residents, staff, and visitors. High school diploma or GED Ability to read and interpret documents, work orders, Instructions, blueprints, policies and procedures, and manuals. 3-4 years of general maintenance experience, preferably in a health care facility. Experience and skills to diagnose and repair household appliances and mobility devices such as wheelchairs and scooters. Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be available for some evenings and weekends and have flexibility in schedule. Compensation and Benefits Pay Range: $17 - 25 per hour. Pay is based on Experience and Education. Frasier offers a comprehensive benefits package to all employees working at least 32 hours per week.
