Man Reported Missing: Last Seen Near Elsner, Old Plank Road Trail

FRANKFORT, IL — Frankfort Police are trying to find a missing man who possibly wandered away from the area of Indian Boundary Park, at Nebraska Street and Luther Lane, according to an alert from the department. Police said a witness reported seeing the missing man at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday near Elsner and the Old Plank Road Trail. The man was seen in the same area on Tuesday, according to police. He was not reported missing until Wednesday, when he didn't return home. The man is white, last seen wearing light-colored jeans and a blue pocket T-shirt, police said. He is visually challenged, uses a white cane, cannot speak well and uses a gastric tube for eating and drinking, according to police. You can call 815-469-9435 if you have seen this man.
