WOODBURY, MN — One of the men wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of 14-year-old Demaris Ekdahl at a graduation party June 5, Jaden Townsend, 19 of Saint Paul, has turned himself in, John Altman, commander of Woodbury Police Department, said. Three others — a juvenile and two women — were also arrested Tuesday afternoon, police said. All four were booked into Washington County Jail, police said. The first to be arrested was the juvenile charged by warrant along with two men, Townsend, and Enrique L. Davila, police said. See also: 2 Charged In Connection With Fatal Woodbury Grad Party Shooting The juvenile was charged with aiding an abetting murder and 4 counts of aiding and abetting assault, according to the criminal complaint. Two women were also arrested for aiding an offender, police said. All three were arrested during a traffic stop, police said. The two women were released pending charges and their names will be released when charges are available, police said. The juvenile was seen standing with Townsend and Davila as they threatened the group Ekdahl was in, according to a criminal complaint. Police went to the juvenile defendant's home and were told that he and Townsend weren't there, officials said. Police then searched the garage and found two handguns and a small compact rifle in a duffle bag, officials said. Forensics tests on the guns are pending, officials said. Ekdahl's stepfather, Keith Dawson, was also arrested and charged in connection with the shooting.
