Police, Coroner Investigate Fremont Death

FREMONT, CA — The Fremont Police Department and the Alameda County Coroner's Office are investigating a death discovered over the weekend. At around 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, police were called about a decomposed body that had been found by two men riding horses. The body was on a hillside in the area of Canyon Heights Drive. There was no identification on the body, and the cause of death was not immediately apparent.
