We are currently seeking motivated candidates for a Full Time Trainer/Floating Teller for our various Minnesota Genisys locations. Position Purpose: Assists in overseeing and coordinating the development, implementation, and updating of training programs for FSR positions in Minnesota. Ensures that FSR functions are performed in accordance with established Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulations by coordinating with the training department. Facilitates FSR training sessions. Provides assistance and recommendations of new training procedures to meet current needs. Develops and maintains Credit Union training materials specific to the needs of the MN branches. When working outside of the training capacity, will travel as needed to the branches in MN to provide coverage and/or additional help to the assigned branch. Will be responsible for ensuring that members are promptly and professionally served whether performing teller functions or a broad variety of member services functions. Member service duties may include processing loans, opening and closing accounts, renewing certificates, and opening IRS’s. Teller responsibilities include providing a variety of paying and receiving functions for members in person, via phone, and through the mail. Balances each day’s transactions and verifies cash totals. Actively cross-sells Credit Union products and services. Assists other Member Service Representatives with duties as required. Job Duties Include (but not limited to): Provides instruction to FSR’s regarding all transactions, error corrections, and balancing procedures. Provides judgement training, clarifying policies, and answering questions.Provides on-site branch training and support and conducts follow-up training sessions as requested.Answers questions and assists with problems. Conveys and clarifies new policies and procedures and acts as a source consultant for FSRs.Ensures that FSR’s perform assigned duties in accordance with Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulations. Identifies problems with service delivery and provides recommendations to resolve them.Receives checks and cash for deposit and loan payments, in person or by mail; verifies amount; and examines checks for endorsement and negotiability.Disburses cash or check share withdrawals in person or by mail, after verification of signatures and account balances.Processes/sells cash advances, cashiers’ checks, money orders, government bonds, gift cards, theme park tickets and similar transactions, after verification of signatures and account balances.Balances daily transactions and verifies cash totals. Investigates and resolves out-of-balance conditions.Fills out consumer loan applications while interviewing members.Reviews loan application file to verify that application data is complete and meet credit union standards, including type and amount of loan, borrower assets, liabilities, and length of employment.Verifies that loan approval conditions are met before pay out. Maintains timelines and quality in processing loans.
