Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 06/16/2021 211670822 Preliminary Information: On June 16th, 2021, around 12:08 pm, officers responded to a male shot at the location of 320 Fairburn Rd SW. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male with a gunshot wound. He was not alert, not conscious and not breathing and was pronounced deceased on scene by Grady EMS. Officers on scene have one male detained at this time. Homicide detectives will be investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation remains ongoing at this time.  Please keep in mind the above information is preliminary in nature and can change as the investigation progresses and new information comes to light.
