If you have a home studio and want something more but can’t afford to set up a commercial and all the expenses and risk that go with it… This might be worth checking out. I am the owner of a professional audio studio located in a commercial building. I am making some life changes that would cut back on how much time I spend in the studio working with clients. I would like to find at most 2 or 3 people who would like an excellent opportunity to run their own studio business out of an established business with an arrangement to split the monthly operating costs, so the overhead is very low for everyone. You keep your earnings and control your own schedule. No equipment necessary. We are already fully equipped. You’d have access to top notch gear and very good rooms that are acoustically well-treated. The Studio is located in a good and safe area. I am very flexible on the exact terms to give people time to get business in the door without immediate expenses. I am seeking Self-motivated entrepreneurial individuals with a strong drive to succeed. I’d prefer considerable engineering knowledge and experience with a track record of professional results. However, I am willing to help someone who wants it. Being able to do live and studio work is a plus. Being a musician helps but may not be necessary as long as the ear is well-trained. I prefer someone who is always learning and open to different methods to achieve desired results especially since some clients may not be capable of standard studio methods. I need someone who is trustworthy, reliable and has references. We’d like some good references since you will be getting access to considerably expensive equipment. Eventually a background check will be necessary but since no one is perfect it won’t be a big deal as long as you are honest with me in advance. You will need to bring in a good portion of your own business, but I may be able to help with that in a few ways. For one, I may also be referring some of my clients to you so it is important you can work with many different types of people. Many of my clients are Christian as we do a lot of Gospel in addition to Rock, Country, Jazz and Solo artists and Christian artists who want arrangements, but we also gladly work with those who sing with karaoke tracks. We generally don’t avoid Rap and Hiphop due to past issues. I’m not listing my number to avoid the fake C-list calls.
