We are looking for people to participate in a Zoom focus group/mock jury. There are currently two (2) available focus group dates for you to choose from: 1. Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (or) 2. Tuesday, June 29, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. These focus groups will take place entirely online using Zoom Video. We will not meet in person. To be considered for this focus group, you must first: 1. Have a desktop, laptop or tablet (no cell phones allowed); 2. Have a functioning computer webcam; 3. Have a strong Internet connection to minimize video lag and eliminate connection drops. If connection is lost, you will be given a grace period of five (5) minutes to reconnect; 4. Have a quiet location where you will be uninterrupted; 5. Agree to be physically present and have your video on during the entirety of the session; 6. Agree to mute your microphone the entire session unless you are chosen to speak; 7. Have an active Venmo account, as this will be the only means of receiving payment for your participation; and 8. Agree to not operate any motor vehicles during the entirety of the focus group session. Full participation is required. Failure to comply with any of these eight (8) above-mentioned requirements for the entire four-hour session will result in no compensation. The pay is $80.00. There will be only a single, ten (10) minute break at approximately halfway through whichever section you are chosen for. All backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
