There is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our Residential Property Management team as a Porter in Mesa, AZ. The responsibilities of the Porter involve the upkeep of the property in order to enhance and maintain its curb appeal. The Porter will also assist the rest of the staff, as directed, in their efforts to manage the property in an efficient manner. About the Company: -Capilano Properties is a leading real estate firm based in Phoenix, Arizona with offices in Toronto, Vancouver, Los Angeles, Seattle, and Chicago. This diverse company is vertically integrated with in-house departments responsible for execution of the company’s activities including property development, construction and management as well as leasing, sales and marketing. The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: -Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, state and federal laws; e.g., OSHA, ADA, Fair Housing, etc. -The ability to assist Maintenance Supervisor in preparing vacant units for occupancy -Clean and keep all communal areas (waste areas, office and bathroom, dog park, fitness room, courtyards, laundry room, pool area, etc.) -Perform general maintenance tasks as required Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): -High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience -Previous experience handyman or janitorial experience is preferred but not necessary. -Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
