We have a great opportunity for a Warehouse Clerk position, reporting to the Warehouse Manager at our distribution warehouse in Vista, CA. Explore the possibilities with us and come be part of our growing culture. Job Summary: The Warehouse Clerk will coordinate the activities and operations of the warehouse. The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties, including shipping and receiving, unloading and loading trucks, fulfilling purchase orders, and keeping warehouse stocked with essential equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Manages warehouse inventory and maintains database. • Coordinates and schedules the movement of products throughout the warehouse including storage and shipment of finished products. • Implements daily production and shipping plan, arranging for excess stock to be stored in warehouse. • Confirms availability of items to be shipped by verifying inventory records or conducting inventories of required items. • Identifies and reports slow-moving product and with approval, arranges for the removal of the product. • Directs forklift drivers to store goods in identified areas. • Manually handles, repacks, or restacks pallets of finished product as needed. • Operates forklift truck as needed. • Documents all related activities and completes forms and reports. • Acts in a safe and efficient manner in all aspects of performing essential job duties minimizing risk to oneself and the company. • Performs other related duties as directed. • Must wear safety equipment and PPE (personal protective equipment) needed to safely perform essential job duties. Qualifications and Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Valid forklift certification. • At least two years of work experience in a warehouse required. • UPS and Fed-Ex software knowledge is preferred, but not required.
