Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is to perform all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the company’s facilities.
A great Maintenance Technician will have a solid understanding of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems as well as carpentry, sheetrock, and other crafts. They will be well-versed in all maintenance process and health and safety regulations.
The goal is to ensure the company facilities are well-cared for and adequate to support the company’s business operations.
Responsibilities
• Carrying out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
• Checking electrical systems of buildings to ensure functionality and comfort of all clients within
• Checking plumbing systems of buildings to ensure functionality and comfort of all clients within
• Checking HVAC systems of buildings to ensure functionality and comfort of all clients within
• Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
• Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance
• Develop relationships with contractors and service providers
• Create and keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
• Ensure health and safety policies are complied with
• Troubleshoot problem areas and create a clear plan of action for fixing necessary parts
• Be proactive in addressing issues throughout the facilities
Requirements
• Proven experience as maintenance technician
• Experience in maintenance operations
• Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
• Experience in appliance repair
• Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
• Ability to keep track of and report on activity
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding organizational abilities
• Valid HVAC certification preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $23.00 per hour
