I have 5 large piles of long stems cut from my laurel hedge that I want to have fed into a 6" chipper and the chips spread back under the hedge. I estimate this is less than a full days work for a crew of 3 to haul, feed the chipper, and spread the chips. You must have a chipper, or rent one for the day (I'm willing to cover the rental if necessary).
If you have a chainsaw, then there will be more work available- cutting and trimming trees on the property. Rakes and shovels for spreading the chips are a must, as are hearing and eye protection.
