BHI is recruiting for a Warehouse Technician for an opportunity in Salt Lake City, UT LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY 1) General warehousing 2) Inventory control 3) Forklift Experience (certification a plus) Ability to contribute to a positive work environment. Ability to interact with others and to evaluate results. Good attendance record (i.e., arriving at agreed-upon time). Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. SAP experience preferred. High Level Project Overview: Must be qualified and able to perform the responsibilities and tasks of a stock-handler position. Ability to accurately read, interpret and comply with company and departmental procedures. Attention to detail, basic math skills, ability to check and maintain stock inventory. Ability to operate a personal computer including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Must have basic data entry skills required to track inventory. Ability to operate a forklift. Ability to lift or move at least 100 lbs. Responds to customers regarding the availability of stocked items and to provide needed support, as necessary. COMPETENCIES: Oral Comprehension - The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). Oral Expression - The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand. Written Comprehension - The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing. Written Expression - The ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand. English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents. Time Management - Managing one's own time Judgment and Decision Making - Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
