Vocalist looking to create a musical/stage/performance art experience with a few other eclectic weirdos. If you dig Tom Waits, you've got my basic vocal style - though I'm a little more diverse. I also play half a dozen instruments with varying degrees of incompetence. You don't have to be supremely talented, just have a good work ethic, a healthy dose of humility, and a great interest in off-brand music. I have no interest in mainstream stuff, but love to cover clever songs most people have never heard before. We can talk about original stuff down the road, but for now I'd like to get comfortable covering unusual material with other musical nuts like myself. I think long term, there's a bigger market for this music, especially for live venues. Just be professional, drama and drug-free. I've been down that road, and never want to do so again. Age, race, gender, religion and politics unimportant; just be flexible and exploratory, creatively speaking.
