Description
Our Service Technician is the primary point of contact for residential window warranty issues for our current and previous customers within a given region. This individual will conduct services for our products as required by service orders. This includes, but is not limited to; screen installation, seal repair, and siding, roofing, and door installation punch lists.
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS
• Perform pre-installation and post-installation inspections
• Anticipate roadblocks that could impact customer expectations; job costs and/or code performance, and recommend solutions
• Coordinate return visits; convey needed services, materials, and labor to relevant stakeholders
• Collaborate with relevant post-close stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of daily activities
• Fulfill service appointment specifications
• Maintain company assets in excellent working order
• Maintain a substantive knowledge of our products, install techniques, and construction
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 3+ years’ professional experience installing/repairing windows, roofing, siding, and related home improvement projects
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office Suite programs
• Salesforce experience preferred
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
