Seasonal Position: May - November Hours: Full-time but Flexible, Monday – Friday Required Certifications / Licenses: Drivers License with Clean driving record WSDA Pesticide License with certifications below *Laws and Safety *Rights of Way Job Duties: Mix and apply pesticides to roadways, parking lots and driveways prior to paving using a truck mounted spraying apparatus. Occasionally hand spray from truck mounted tank. Assist with shop duties for parking lot maintenance and shop labor. Fill sprayer tanks with water and chemicals according to formulas for application. Ensure equipment is prepared with fuel and tanks are mixed for future days’ work. Clean equipment and maintain equipment or systems to ensure proper functioning. Document each job per WSDA specification sheets. Other duties include assisting with shop operations for parking lot striping, sign installation. Operate forklift, band saw and general hand tools.
