Introducing Princess Lavender “Lala” Meow, I am a beautiful 8-year old white Turkish Angora cat with a stunning face, one blue and one green eye, and long silky fur (if I do say so myself). I was rescued back in 2017 and have loved having more space to myself. While I get along with other cats, my absolute dream would be to have my own place where I can roam completely free and soak up all that special attention from you! My weakness is my superpower - I am completely deaf, so I won’t react to doorbells, thunderstorms, or any sounds at all. Unlike many cats, nail clippers or grinders don’t bother me one bit! Just be sure to stomp the floor, flash the lights, or have some other cue when you are approaching so I don’t get surprised. Even though I can’t hear, I know you can - I am very talkative when I want to be and will be sure to greet you with my lovely singing voice. I don’t mind toothbrushing and I LOOOVE having my long, gorgeous fur brushed (at least weekly!). It’s also very important to have my own space where I can retreat and feel safe until I’m ready to come be a cuddly lapcat with my favorite person. I am a healthy girl, up-to-date on all my vaccines and with no current medical conditions. I will meow a lot at the vet, but I am very well-behaved. Like many deaf cats, I do have some history of hissing or snapping (since I couldn’t hear the other kittens tell me “ouch!”). This only happens if I’m feeling scared or surprised and is very rare as long as I feel comfortable. I may be a bit sassy, but I’m proud to say there have been no biting incidents in the last few years. :) I’m looking for someone who is prepared for my extra care needs and I can give all my special kitty affection in return.
