This not a traditional offer of employment. This will be a really easy job for the right person, bc we have done this alone for so long. We are not looking to make you the rock of the family. Things have just gotten complicated because of COVID and new endeavors. Drive kids to camp and practices Drop items off at the trash place or donation center Monitor them while outdoors Study hall monitor Occasional childcare Occasional help with senior dad when he visits 20 hours per week or less, allowing time for another job. Free housing - kitchen, bedroom to yourself. Occasional use of your bathroom by children if they are with you. Or the very rare, advanced notice family gathering in the backyard that may require basement use for a day. Basement apartment Private entry Childcare will be in the large area of the basement or outdoors for playtime 8 children in our home, but you will be responsible for two or four depending on task. Ages 2-10 for childcare Ages 7-12 for drop off May take ages 10-15 to sports You will have privacy except for when the ages 2-10 come down for occasional childcare Various tasks 20-25 hours, some flexibility Pay with free rent and utilities $400 All potty trained 4-y-o has Down’s Syndrome, but she operates as just another sibling. You will get a pool pass and fitness pass in our neighborhood. For the right person, your child can be included with this opportunity as long as you can complete the job. Schools are Accokeek Academy (K-8) and Gwynn Park High School No overnight guests. No social media posts about our fam or about the location. Nothing special, but we’re just careful like that. Not easy to walk to stores from here Trails for walking and biking Nearest grocery 8-minute drive Nearest shopping mall ~15-minute drive Nearest public transportation - 2+ miles License and insurance required. For the right person, we can figure out a non-driving exchange, but transport and recess is our primary need. No smoking. Drug test required.
