An award winning Home Staging Company is seeking a mover/driver on a part-time basis. We are looking for someone that is flexible and has a positive and energetic attitude and that is a team player. We will only contact individuals that meet our qualification requirements and that provide a cover letter and a resume with their experience. Below are the duties, skills and knowledge we are seeking. Individual will be required to lift furniture, go up and down latters, stairs, and move furniture around the warehouse, load and unload truck, drive truck and deliver and pickup furniture to homes we stage. This is a 1099 subcontractor position, if not interested in that please do not apply. Duties Assist with organizing warehouse inventory and furniture Unload and load furniture for staging jobs Deliver and remove furniture to/from properties Have a valid drivers license and a good driving record Drive a 14 ft box truck to and from jobs Clean and maintain furniture in good clean and usable condition Place furniture/inventory on shelves Utilize hand tools as required and do minor repairs/touch ups to furniture Assembling furniture Perform other duties as assigned Abilities Required Lift heavy items up to 70 lbs Receive, organize and place furniture accordingly on shelves and in homes we stage Stock furniture Communicate effectively both orally and in writing Knowledge Required How to properly pack a moving truck Proper lifting techniques Organization skills
