Hey everyone. This is an SOS for help. My name is Matt. It's a long story but the short version is that I fell for a housing scam. End result is that me and my pups are homeless (were on day 2) I'm pretty much out of options here. Family's gone and there's no one I know who can help. I tried to get my own place, but I don't make enough to qualify (even though I'm an assistant manager at a Little Caesars 😑) New plan is to jump ship to Amazon. The pay is better and there's a $1k hiring bonus. That should make me eligible to qualify for an apartment + help with 1st months rent but it's still going to take some time. If there's anything you can do or someone you know who could lend a hand, I would be eternally grateful. I'll accept anything and everything. Good advice counts as help too so if you have any please let me know. My pups are my main priority. I can roll with the punches but it's getting hotter and they're old dogs. (I will not put my pups in the shelter though. That is definitely off the table. The oldest will be 18 in August. I am 100% sure she would never be re-adopted and they would just put her down.)
