Perhaps you need a behaviorist to help you rather then give a dog a way after 5 years, it will be tough to place him. Especially since he has snapped at your child already, very sorry you feel you need to come to this and you may only have two options. Get him help or put him down, I hope you do place if you feel necessary to do this.
