Palm Commodities International, LLC has an immediate opening for a Custodian in its LaVergne, TN manufacturing plant. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday from 5:30 am to 1:30 pm. What you will be doing As our Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the external and internal appearance of our two properties by performing housekeeping and groundkeeping tasks. The properties include one manufacturing/office facility, and one warehouse/office facility. Specifically, you will be responsible for: Maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies; Observing general property conditions and performing tasks as needed to improve appearance and cleanliness; Cleaning offices, meeting rooms, breakrooms, locker rooms, bathrooms, and floors; Running a floor cleaner in the production plant and warehouse facilities; Collecting and disposing of trash; Cutting the grass using a zero turn mower; Trimming and maintaining plants and shrubs; Keeping walkways free of debris; and Other duties as needed. Who we are looking for Our success is based on individuals who are ready to make the most of their skills and prepared to tackle any challenges they face. As well as your high school diploma or GED, you should have experience cleaning in an industrial environment. We will also be looking for: Forklift certification or willingness to obtain this certificate; Demonstrated ability to use lawn maintenance equipment; Ability to lift 50 lbs; and Ability to follow directions and complete tasks without supervision.
