Colusa Produce Inspection Services, LLC is a family owned company located in New Jersey and operating in the Port of Philadelphia. Our mission is to provide our customers with the highest quality control inspections. PURPOSE We are looking for a Quality Control Inspector who will be responsible for performing inspections, checks, and tests on products to ensure that all inbound and outbound products meet standards of quality and safety. On-site training is provided. Website: wwww.colusagroup.com Qualifications ● High school or equivalent (Preferred) ● Warehousing: 1 year (Preferred) REQUIREMENTS ● U.S Citizen or green card holder. ● Open to working occasionally on Saturday shifts. ● Must be willing to work in a refrigerated warehouse environment with exposure to extreme cold (32ºF - 45ºF) and damp conditions. ● Active driving license. ● Positive attitude. ● Willing to lift heavy boxes. ● Competent with tablets & computers. ● Produce experience, preferred. ● TWIC card is a plus. ● Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. PHYSICAL DEMANDS ● Required to stand for long periods of time. ● Involves repetitive tasks. ● Must be able to lift 50 pounds-More than 50 pounds requires a team lift. ● May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers. ● Proper clothing including steel toe boots with a good grip RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES ● Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for quality and condition. ● Creates a quality inspection report for all inbound produce. ● Conducts regular product inspection in all coolers and refrigerated warehouse space to ensure quality and proper rotation of products. ● Conducts random shipping audits for outbound product quality and condition. ● Assists with inspecting Production packing quality of products. ● All other duties as assigned and/or required. Job Type: 30 - 39 plus hours Pay: $15.00 per hour Benefits: ● Paid time off
