Responsible for the cleaning of all public and common areas, working in laundry, guest deliveries and assistance with housekeeping and maintenance duties. Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to: MUST BE TEAMWORK ORIENTED AND COME WITH "CAN DO" ATTITUDE!!! Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests. Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members. Clean entire grounds of trash and cigarette butts. Run laundry and empty housekeepers’ trash. Clean lobby, exterior windows, hallways, walkways, railings, stairwells, pool furniture, ice and vending machines. Maintain cleanliness of dumpster areas, sand urns, exterior light fixtures, public benches, exterior of guest room doors. Shampoo carpets as assigned. Turn mattresses as assigned. Clean guestroom sliding glass doors as assigned. Report any missing/found articles, or damage to the Housekeeping Supervisor. Assist maintenance department with basic repairs (plumbing, carpentry). Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel. Must be able to move or lift up to 50 lbs. Deliver DKN’s "Home Away From Home" experience Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management. *Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of the position at any time. * Working Conditions/Environment: Entire exterior of property, lobby, laundry room and guest rooms. Access to entire exterior and interior of property. Use of approved cleaning agents.
